Therapy for Parents

Parenting can turn your world upside down in an instant. While it's the most rewarding job, it's also undeniably challenging. From managing daily tasks to navigating complex emotions, it's normal to feel stressed, overwhelmed, or even guilty for longing for your life before kids.

Just like on an airplane, where you're instructed to secure your own oxygen mask before assisting others, prioritizing your mental health as a parent is paramount. Research shows that 1 in 14 children have a caregiver struggling with mental health, which can impact family dynamics and a child's well-being.

Many parents I work with express feelings of stress, rage, irritability, and anxiety. Although we love our children more than anything, this is normal! It is also understandable - the mental load of raising a child can be incredibly overwhelming at times (see: balancing schedules, mealtimes, groceries, household chores, emotional regulation of our kids, quality time with our partner, in-law or family dynamics, etc etc).

Whether you're a working parent or a stay-at-home parent, there's hope for relief. If you're grappling with constant fatigue, complex family dynamics, or difficult memories from your own childhood, know that support is available.

Together, we'll create a plan to enhance your contentment and strengthen your relationships.

I specialize in supporting parents of toddlers and young children who are feeling the weight of stress and burnout.
